Lotto Max Numbers. The numbers for the last six Lotto Max draws can be found here. Draws take place every Tuesday and Friday at 10:30pm E.T. And this page is updated with the winning numbers soon after each draw has been completed. When the Lotto Max Jackpot is at or above $50 million, a 7/7 Cap is established. Each $1 million in excess of the 7/7 Cap is drawn as a separate $1 million MAXMILLIONS prize. The max 7/7 Cap for the jackpot is $70 million. For each MAXMILLIONS Draw, seven numbers are drawn from among all numbers from 1 to 50.
- Canada Lotto Max
Canada Lotto Max requires players to match seven numbers from a possible 50 to win the jackpot. A total of eight numbers are drawn, with the final number acting as the Bonus Ball. The Bonus Ball enables players who have matched between three and six main numbers to win bigger prizes. There are nine prize tiers on offer in the game.
Canada Lotto Max has a starting jackpot of CAD $10 million, which rolls over should no player match all seven main numbers drawn. However, there is a jackpot cap of CAD $70 million, which means that the top prize cannot exceed this figure.
If the jackpot reaches CAD $50 million, a game called MAXMILLIONS comes into play. For every million in the jackpot prize pool above CAD $50 million, an extra draw takes place to give away a prize of CAD $1 million. For example, if the jackpot prize pool is CAD $60 million, there will be 10 extra draws, each with a prize of CAD $1 million on offer. This is in addition to the Lotto Max jackpot prize.
Each MAXMILLIONS prize has its own separate draw and also requires players to match seven numbers from a possible 50 to win. Unlike Lotto Max, there are no secondary prizes. MAXMILLIONS prizes that are not won rollover to the next Lotto Max draw, which means that subsequent games can offer a number of CAD $1 million payouts.
MAXMILLIONS continues to be played until the Lotto Max jackpot is won. Once this top prize has been won, any remaining MAXMILLIONS prizes will be added to the base jackpot for the following draw.

Canada Lotto Max History
The first Canada Lotto Max draw took place in September 2009 and draws originally took place every Friday. Lotto Max replaced Lotto Super 7, played since June 1994, and offered bigger jackpot prizes and a slightly different format, although players were still required to match seven numbers to win the jackpot.
In July 2015, the Lotto Max jackpot cap was raised from CAD $50 million to CAD $60 million.
The most valuable draw in Canada Lotto Max history took place in October 2018, when there were 55 CAD $1 million MAXMILLIONS prizes on offer in addition to the CAD $60 million jackpot. The Lotto Max jackpot was won by a single player and 27 of the 50 MAXMILLIONS prizes were won. The remaining 23 prizes were added to the following week’s jackpot.
Lotto Max Draw Amount
In May 2019, Canada Lotto Max underwent a series of changes, augmenting the game’s rules and prize breakdown. The jackpot cap was increased from CA$60 million to CA$70 million, and a second regular draw was added on Tuesday evenings. The ball pool was increased from 49 to 50, and two extra prize tiers were introduced, one for matching five numbers and the Bonus Ball, and one for four numbers and the Bonus Ball - bringing the total number of prize tiers available to nine.
